ALWC Worship Arts Team, December 22, 2013.
The ALWC Sunday morning worship service on December 22, 2013 was a service to remember. Our service featured the first performance of the ALWC Worship and Arts team. The team lead by Courtney Collier, performed a song and a powerful skit on appreciating gifts from God. The dramatic performance flowed in line with Pastor Derry’s message series Gifts from God.

Becoming an Encounter
The impact of God’s love on our lives creates a manifestation that is the foundation of our impartation to others. When we experience the love of God, it changes how we view ourselves, others, and the world. This change allows us to become a walking encounter (witness) through the Holy Spirit.

Intro to ALWC Class
Information, Connection, and Fellowship: that’s what Abundant Life Worship Center’s newest members experienced during our December “Introduction to ALWC” class. The December 8th class was our 2nd Session for 2013.
On Saturday, February 1, 2014, we will host our “Welcome to the Family” Membership Event which is our Membership Activity Day. This will be a great opportunity for you and your family to learn about Abundant Life our Mission our purpose and how you fit in. This will be A fun filled day that you and your entire family will enjoy!

Casa De Vallejo Service Event
Greetings;
Today the ALWC Care Team served at Casa De Vallejo Senior Residence Center. It was a great time of service and fellowship providing a afternoon meal for Senior Residents of Casa de Vallejo. The event was done in coordination with the Casa De Vallejo staff. Our next step will be providing the canned goods collected for the facilities new food pantry which is due to open between now and Christmas.
Thanks to all those that volunteered and contributed to the project.
Seniors represent a significantly under served population in Solano County. Please remember to be in prayer for the seniors in our lives and those in our communities.

Being of One Mind
The United Negro College Fund has the saying, “A mind is a terrible thing to waste”. The statement is true. For many Christians it is one of the most neglected and misunderstood elements of their lives. The mind is one element of the soul. The soul is the seat of human personality and governs the activity of the physical body. The spirit is the part of man that establishes connection with God and allows us to manifest the presence of God through spiritual operations like prayer, inspiration, intuition, and spiritual gifts.
