In Acts chapter 1, after Jesus has risen from the dead, He begins teaching his disciples about the kingdom, and reminds them that they would soon receive the fathers promise of the Holy Spirit. In the modern church there has been a lot of debate over the role of the Holy Spirit in the life of the believer, but the most important thing about the Holy Spirit is often overlooked.  That most import fact is that He is the presence of God.
