In Exodus 17, we are introduced to a name of God “The Lord Is My Banner” or “Jehovah Nissi”. A banner is a flag of war that identifies who an army represents, and in our New Covenant lives, Jesus becomes our banner/flag of spiritual warfare. ALWC Worship Arts Department will be hosting a one day Flag Dyeing workshop facilitated by Sister Carmen Anzaldua and ALWC Flag & Praise Dance Ministry Leader Fatima McAlister.
In this workshop participants will learn how to Ice Dye your very own sild flags (medium set 36×40, flex rods), rinsing out the dye hanging them to dry, ironing flags, and shown how to sew in rods.

All fees are non-refundable but transferrable.

- Children: $55.00 (children participating must be accompanied by an adult/parent)
- Adults: $80.00
The fee includes the teaching workshop, lunch, and a set of silk flags. Please note that for adults, the price includes a medium sized flag.

We will be outdoors, so dress according to the weather and wear something you don’t mind getting wet or dyed.
